A jurist with extensive experience in the adversarial criminal-justice system in Tamaulipas, specialized in oral litigation and juvenile justice. Speaker at more than 40 national events and a key trainer in the state's rollout of the new criminal-justice system.

Dr. José Arturo Córdova Godínez
Attorney and judge with doctorates in Criminal Law and Education Sciences, and master's degrees in Criminal Procedural Law and Educational Administration. Faculty member at UAT with senior roles in the Tamaulipas Judiciary.

Lic. Eduardo Ataulfo Rodríguez Álvarez
Attorney from UAT with a master's in Amparo from the Federal Judicial Training School. Extensive experience in the Federal Judiciary as clerk of circuit courts and judge in various venues.
Current role: Head of the Ninth District Court in the State of Tamaulipas

Lic. Ayerim Guillén Hernández
Attorney from UAT with a master's in Criminal Procedural Law. A full career in the Tamaulipas Judiciary, from judicial officer to trial judge in civil and family courts.
Current role: Trial Judge, First Civil Court, Altamira

Dr. Sergio Arturo Arjona
A solid judicial career in Tamaulipas: investigating prosecutor, lower-court judge and criminal trial judge. Deep knowledge of the adversarial criminal process and constitutional reforms.

Dr. Lourdes Guadalupe Ávila Tovías
A career in the Federal Judiciary across courts and circuit panels of the Nineteenth Circuit. Specialization in Labor Law and Labor Justice and a master's in Constitutional Law.
Current role: Justice of the Third Circuit Court in Criminal and Labor Matters of the Nineteenth Circuit

Dr. José Luis Cruz Fuentes
Doctor in Educational Development with solid legal training and over two decades at the State Human Rights Commission. Former graduate-studies coordinator and tenured professor at UAT's Law School.
